Position Scope
This is a unique opportunity to join and support our growing Accounting and Finance team. We are looking for a Junior Accountant who is keen to develop his/her accounting skills and get exposure to the various facets of supporting a clean tech company.
This role will report to the Accounting Manager and you will be working with several CPAs who can provide mentoring and support to advance your accounting career. You will also be part of a team that provides the back-office functions for the Company, including accounting, human resources, legal, IT, purchasing and administration.

Based in the outdoor recreation hub of Squamish, BC, this role will be a great fit for a technically apt, curious and hands-on accountant who feels passionately about this vision and wants to be a part of a fast-paced culture.
This position is primarily based in Squamish. After training is completed, there is an option to work 2 days in the Squamish office/week and 3 days remote/week.
Responsibilities
As part of the Accounting team, support the full cycle accounting functions of accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger account reconciliations.
Qualifications
Education: completed a degree program preferably in business or accounting.
Experience: previous work in a small company is an asset, ideally in the accounting /administration area.
Enrollment in CPA preparatory courses or the CPA professional education program is considered an asset.
Proficient with MS Excel and Word.
Experience with an ERP or accounting program (Quickbooks, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, DayForce, etc.) is an asset.
Collaborates well with others, including comfort working in the cross-functional interface between technical, business, and administrative teams.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills a must.
