The Opportunity

In this role, you will work across departments at Carbon6 to create compelling designs to shape our brand’s identity, create stunning graphics, and collaborate with an innovative, creative team.. This role combines brand design with production design, encompassing both the Carbon6 main brand and our suite of subbrands.

Your Impact

• Design Creation: Develop visually appealing graphics for digital and print media that align with our brand identity and marketing goals. Your designs will captivate audiences and communicate our message effectively
• Branding: Maintain and enhance the visual consistency of our brand across all platforms and materials. You will ensure that our visual identity remains strong and cohesive
• Digital Graphics: Create engaging digital assets, including social media graphics, web banners, and email templates. These assets will drive engagement and increase our online presence
• Concept Development: Generate innovative design concepts and ideas for various campaigns and projects. Your creativity will help us stand out in a crowded market
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with marketing, partnerships, community, and product development teams to ensure cohesive and impactful designs. Your ability to collaborate will be key to our success
• Brand Identity Guidelines: Create and maintain brand identity guidelines, ensuring consistency across all communication channels. Your work will reinforce our brand’s visual identity
• Marketing Materials: Design and produce various marketing materials such as social media assets, event assets, landing pages, and sales collateral. Your designs will support our marketing strategies
• Industry Trends: Stay current with design trends and technologies, especially advancements in AI tools, to continuously improve and innovate our design processes. Your knowledge will keep us ahead of the curve

Your Qualifications

• Proven Experience: 2+ years of graphic design experience, either in SaaS or agency. Bonus points if you have experience coming from a high-growth startup or scaleup
• Creativity: You possess a strong creative flair and a keen eye for aesthetics, allowing you to produce visually stunning designs. Your creativity will help us create memorable and impactful visuals
• Tech Stack: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma is essential for this role. Your technical skills will be crucial to executing high-quality designs. Knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus, enabling you to contribute to web design projects. This technical understanding will broaden your design capabilities
• Attention to Detail: Your meticulous attention to detail ensures that all design elements are precise and of the highest quality. You will maintain the highest standards in all your work
• Time Management: You’re adept at juggling multiple tasks, setting priorities, and managing your time effectively. You can juggle anything and you have devised ways of keeping yourself organized and on pace without losing track of any of the details
• Communication: You possess exemplary communication skills, with the ability to articulate project objectives, expectations, and status updates to all stakeholders
• Collaboration: You thrive in a team environment, working well with others to achieve shared goals and deliver outstanding results. Your teamwork will enhance our collective productivity
• Problem-solving: You are creative and solution-oriented when it comes to design challenges. You will tackle obstacles with ease and ingenuity
• Project Management: You have experience in managing design projects from concept to completion, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within scope. Your organizational skills will drive successful project outcomes
