We are currently seeking a Vice President, Supply Chain and Operations to oversee all activities relating to Supply Chain, Logistics, Inventory Management, Transportation and Operations across our 8 Distribution Centers in Canada. As a member of the Canadian Leadership Team, this role is a key decision maker in the business and develops the existing and future Supply Chain and Logistics strategy for Canada. This role reports to the President, Cardinal Health Canada with a matrixed relationship to the VP Supply Chain for International Medical Products and Distribution.
This role is responsible for developing and leading a team of six direct reports and approximately 600 indirect reports across the country. This role is key in leading and developing a team of Operational, Supply Chain and Transportation leaders in driving a culture of inclusion, respect and continuous improvement. The Vice President role is essential to maintaining clear and frequent communications with all levels within the organization, the larger International Medical Segment as well as with customers.

Your Contributions to the Organization will be to:
Coach and develop a team of Professional Supply Chain, Transportation and Operations leaders
Positively Influence and shape a large and inclusive organizational culture to be one that’s productive and a great place to work
Serve as a critical enabler of the company’s future growth by scaling up capabilities, creating strategies to control operating costs while elevating excellence in terms of people, process and technology
Lead the strategic and executional components of Canada’s Supply Chain and Operations Transformation
Create operational cost-to-serve plans to maximize productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction levels
Act as an organizational Change agent and help teams within and outside the Operations and Supply Chain organization navigate through Cardinal Health Canada’s transformation
Partner with other Canadian Leadership Team members to align cross functional teams around common goals and operating requirements across the regions
Drive EH&S performance by providing necessary resources and holding the team accountable to complying with EHS programs, policies and requirements
Implement a continuous improvement culture leveraging Operational Excellence tools in driving new processes and technology enhancements in Canada
This Job might be for you if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field.
15+ years of management experience at a senior level in Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain
Warehouse Distribution, Inventory Management, Transportation and Supply Chain experience required
Influential leadership skills, mentoring and motivating teams to achieve common goals
Strong financial acumen, analytical, organizational and communication skills
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop actionable, high-value strategies
Strong ability to collaborate and leverage resources and capabilities across teams
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced ever changing environment; works well under pressure and results oriented
