The Business Intelligence group delves into our data, past and present, to develop crucial metrics and reporting functionality that better informs and optimizes key businesses decisions across the organization.
This is the team building the dashboards, scorecards and business intelligent insights that deliver and process vital data to business partners across the enterprise.

Job Details
- Develop and understand business drivers, definitions, and metrics to interpret findings, take-action, and provide meaningful business direction.
- Develop and maintain specialized Business Intelligence (BI) packages, dashboards and scorecards on the MS Azure Cloud Platform
- Manage the repository of all reporting assets including and not limited to data analysis, development scripts, objects and documentation.
- Maintain expert knowledge of all main data sources for the data used within the business unit and ability to effectively utilize these data sources
- Lead the discussion with business partners to understand business objectives and develop valuable reporting for enablement and fact based decisioning
- Validate the quality and integrity of the data included in all artifacts
- Develop substantial and insightful commentary/insights on new and existing BI packages
- Work independently as the senior analyst / expert and may provide technical support to others
- Lead the implementation of initiatives in support of overall business/function strategy
- Provide (and may develop) complex reporting, analysis, and assessments at the functional or enterprise level
- Ideally have or acquire knowledge of broader enterprise reporting platforms and data sources and ability to integrate data across the enterprise
Job Requirements
- Experience in business or financial reporting/business insights and analysis development, is knowledgeable and savvy with new technology and tools preferably within the global financial services and back-office operations
- Hands-on experience in using business intelligence, analytics and/or data visualization tools (ex: Tableau)
- Experience with Python, Databricks and SQL
- Experience with Microsoft Azure is desired
- Strong team player who fosters and thrives in an environment of peer development and sharing
- Strong analytically-anchored problem-solving skills – a logical and strategic thinker with strong critical reasoning skills, proactively identifies risks and issues, recommends solutions, challenges the status quo
- Enthusiastic and focused self-starter who can work with minimal supervision to strict deadlines and is able to prioritize, multitask, and manage various projects simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with various level of management and senior management to convey findings concisely through presentations and business commentaries
- Strong ownership mentality, proactive attitude, and ability to get things done
- Demonstrated passionate analytical thinker with track record of delivering business impact and results through developing and executing on innovative BI solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a history of using data to understand not only what is happening, but why it is happening, and what can be done to resolve the issue
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and run multiple deadlines and priorities
- Capable of working in and across teams, leading partners and aligning leadership – including proven teamwork and ability to build deep relationships with diverse business partners
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to proactively influence and support product decisions through analytical counsel
- Ability to manage and supervise a team of BI analysts to provide strategic direction.
Educational Requirements/Accreditations
- Undergraduate degree or above preferably in an analytically based discipline
