The Marketing Specialist will use specific marketing strategies and media to drive profitable growth and customer loyalty. We seek a professional who will help coordinate market plan and launch programs to create demand and maximize sales of a specific product, product line or product area.
The role is remote with the possibility to come back to the office eventually, with Ontario being Woodstock and Quebec being St. Hubert. ** Key Accountabilities
In collaboration with our account managers, execute customer analysis for individual or groups of customers using marketing tools.
Participate in evaluating and modifying promotion or advertising programs.
Participate in producing informational material for the sales force and communications media to reach maximum number of customers and prospects.
Help plan, create and produce marketing, advertising and sales promotion materials for small-to-medium projects to implement marketing strategies and sales objectives.
Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
Developing a keen sense of market landscape, including competitor reactions, this role will partner across SMT and Sales in order to transform these insights into actionable items that will enhance our ability to create long-term customer loyalty.
Based on the list of priorities established through business planning, this role will act as project manager ensuring the flawless and on-time execution of key customer initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of two years of related work experience
Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook)
Ability to travel to assigned accounts as needed – up to 25%
Awareness of Social Media as consumer-driven tactics
Results-driven
Demonstrated problem-solving skills with business results
Ability to create and sustain relationships through strong written/verbal communication skills
Comfortable working across siloes and building strong partnerships cross-functionally
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce)
Working knowledge of 7 P’s of Marketing, with emphasis on Promotion, Placement, Price, Product
Project management experience
Account management experience
Data-driven analytical skills
Knowledge of animal feeding and management practices
Experience working in the marketing industry
