trueNorth provides comprehensive addiction medicine services to individuals within Ontario who are facing substance use challenges. This program operates on a non-urgent, walk-in basis where people receive access to assessment and treatment within the same visit. Medical treatment plans and supports are offered based on the unique needs and goals of the individual.
We are looking for a part-time Clinical Administrator to join our growing team. This is a maternity leave contract position. The role will be fully remote, and is available for anyone residing in Ontario.
Responsibilities:
- Using an Electronic Medical Record to complete intakes and create records, manage appointment bookings, upload documents, etc.
- Liaise between physicians and patients and community affiliates
- Assist physicians with completing administrative tasks
We are looking for someone who…
- has experience in Administration, Medical Reception, or the Customer Service Sector.
- is proficient in Google Suite and comfortable with video conferencing platforms.
- has excellent problem solving skills
- is self-motivated, takes initiative, and is able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Skills
- Educational background in Community and Social Services, Addiction and Mental Health Sector, Public Health is desirable
- Professional and/or personal experience within the Addiction and Mental Health sector is desirable
- Experience working with PatientVu and the Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN) is an asset
- Knowledge of ethical practices, including PHIPA compliance, is an asset
- Excellent written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- Strong multi-tasking, organizational, and time management skills
