A bit about the role & team | the opportunity:
As CaseWare continues to expand, we are building out a new business function that puts employees first. The Business Analyst Co-op will be a part of the Ecosystem that is responsible for creating a platform that streamlines and automates many tasks that accountants, auditors and tax professionals perform on a daily basis. Our platform supports the development of additional apps, add-ins and extensions to meet the needs of these professionals around the world in every industry.
You will be part of a team that is committed to developing and delivering integrated software with the other platforms made within CaseWare International and provide an excellent employee experience. Our customers are our distributors and resellers strategically placed globally who share the same goal of building a world-class platform through customer obsession as us. As part of the Ecosystem, you will be working with some great minds (literally been with the team/company for 30 years), the latest technology for cloud-based apps and in a fast-paced agile environment with a great team of people who only want to deliver the best to our users.
[The highlight of your responsibilities] You will work with internal and external stakeholders to:
Assist the Product Owner and Product Manager in taking new capabilities to market and help with evangelizing this across our global partners
Define and measure success metrics for the portfolio of products and services we offer
Explore customer usage metrics and provide input into the product development roadmap
Perform market research in order to provide a better understanding of the state of the market and competitive landscape
Assist in the implementation of the systems used by the Product Management
Help in defining the processes and best practices followed by the team
We are looking for someone who:
Working towards a degree in Business or Accounting
Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite
Impressive communication skills
Ability to Solve and Identify Problems
Analytical mindset and a drive for quality
Self-directed, goal-oriented and accountable
