We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee the IT department in the Americas, specifically in Canada and the US. Reporting directly to Josh Harrington – Director of Information Security and Technology, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the team’s efficiency, aligning IT initiatives with stakeholder requirements, and contributing to the global vision of One Caseware.

What you will be doing:

• Lead and manage the IT department in the Americas, including personnel management for a team of 7, with a focus on team development and upskilling.
• Align and collaborate with other IT departments globally, and the EU IT Manager based in the UK.
• Execute on key projects such as the migration from Google Suite to MS Suite, IT service management uplift, and Procurement and Vendor Management.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of technical needs, consolidating opportunities, and managing hardware and software effectively.
• Collaborate with the IT Security team, ensuring a cohesive approach to security initiatives and addressing upcoming needs.
• Manage training programs designed to educate the organization’s computer users about basic computer use and specialized applications.
• Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
• Develop information technology projects and provide strategic management and objectives for the department.
• Provide strategic updates to the Director of IT and Security, contributing to long-term IT and Security strategies that align with the overall ELT strategy.

What you will bring:

• 2+ years of experience as an IT Manager in Canada/US, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and mentorship.
• Demonstrated experience in project management, with a preference for individuals who have evolved from roles like IT analyst or IT Ops associate.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build and coach high-performing teams.
• Previous experience in integrating and consolidating IT systems, with a focus on change management.
• Technical background with experience as an IT analyst, system admin, or service desk manager.
• Familiarity with large-scale IT projects and the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Assertive and confident with the ability to challenge, push back, and provide constructive feedback.
• Ability to deliver big picture updates and align IT initiatives with organizational goals.
