Castlegar Toyota requires an Full Time Position for an Accounting Assistant for a key role in our growing operations.

Responsibilities include:
- The careful processing and review of accounts payable and receivables,
- Writing and posting journal entries of all types, assisting with accounting controls and oversight, gathering and organizing data for performance reports, cash handling and payment processing, and general accounting and administrative duties as required.
- The Accounting Assistant provides backup coverage for reception as needed.
Previous accounting experience and a solid understanding of accounting is mandatory.
Also required is a high level of attention to detail, comfort with technology and IT systems, good communication skills, the desire to learn and expand your knowledge of the retail automotive industry, as well as the ability to prioritize work, stay organized, and meet regular deadlines.
Applicant must be a Canadian Citizen or have Permanent/Landed Immigrant Status.
