What Will You Do?
A bindery operator is responsible to set up and operate industrial printing equipment to produce quality finished products.

Set-up and operate bookbinding equipment
-
Adjust machinery to ensure efficient operation and quality printing is maintained.

Review job orders to determine production time and quantities required
What Will Help You Succeed?
Experience
Working on any of the below pieces of equipment will be considered an asset:

Collator
-
Industrial Knives,
-
Hot stamper
Skills
-
Experience operating industrial machinery is considered an asset

Excellent Mechanical and Mathematical skills
Mandatory Requirements
-
Ability to work all shift schedules including days, nights, evenings, and overtime as required

Completion of Journeymen Apprenticeship & Journeymen bookbinder certification
-
Secret Level Clearance, or ability to obtain secret level clearance
-
Located in Ottawa ON, or willing to relocate.
