To meet the needs of our growing business, we require an individual to join our team in managing the financial operations of the company. This is a full-time salaried position, based at our facility in Guelph, with daytime working hours.
Reporting to the General Manager, this individual will be responsible for all finance/accounting functions, including:
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Payroll
- Government Remittances
- Cash Flow Management
- Bank Reconciliations
- Monthly Reporting
- Year End Preparation
This position requires an individual who is exceptionally well organized, can multi-task, has a strong accounting knowledge, and who is personally driven to perform at a high level. A positive attitude is a must in our fast-paced environment, as is the ability to work within a team.
The ideal candidate for this position will meet the following requirements:
- Post-Secondary education in business administration, accounting, finance or equivalent. CPA designation is not required, but would be an asset
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills;
- Excellent computer skills for all programs within Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously

- accounting: 5 years (preferred)
- Controllers: 1 year (preferred)
