3 hours per week (1 client) – Moncton

· $14.70 per hour + paid kilometers

· Position to start as soon as possible.

· Hours of work: To be determined with client’s family (after school hours)

· Description:

Assist male youth who is blind with access for appropriate needs such as community, outings, socialization, etc. He is currently in school, so this position would be for 3 hours one afternoon / early evening after school. The proper candidate must be able to take initiative and have good judgement and be client focused. Being an Intervenor requires a degree of creativity to assist the Consumer in completing activities of daily life and maneuvering the outside environment. Communication skills are vital, as well as problem solving. This would be a great additional position for an Educational Assistant, Support Worker, Daycare Worker, ECE, etc.

The following are required for hiring:

· Completion of high school

· Criminal record check cleared for vulnerable sector, Child Abuse Registry check

· Vehicle with valid Drivers License

· First Aid and CPR certificates

· Writing and document use
