We are CEM Benchmarking, a global benchmarking firm for institutional investors including pension funds, endowments, foundations and sovereign wealth funds.
Our blue-chip corporate and government clients represent $11 trillion in assets under management. We provide them with objective insights to maximize value for money in both investments and pension administration. This helps our clients better understand where they stand and how to improve their performance. By improving our clients’ performance, we, in turn, improve the financial well-being of pensioners globally.

Our Opportunity
The Global Pension Transparency Benchmark (GPTB) is a world first global standard for pension disclosure, bringing a focus to transparency in a bid to improve pension outcomes for members.
The GPTB ranks 15 countries on public disclosures of elements for the five largest pension fund organizations within each country. The GPTB focuses on the transparency and quality of public disclosures with quality relating to the completeness, clarity, information value and comparability of disclosures.
The overall country benchmark scores look at four factors: governance and organization; performance; costs; and responsible investing, which are measured by assessing hundreds of underlying components.
Main Responsibilities:
– Review public websites and annual reports of international funds.
– Score funds based on the GPTB scorecard and information disclosed.
– Identify best practice examples of disclosures.
– Assist with the compilation and analysis of results.
– Participate in regular GPTB team meetings.
You Bring:
– A personal desire to make a difference in the financial well-being of pensioners.
– Previous experience in conducting research and compiling data from multiple sources
– Excellent organization skills and strong judgement to be able to take initiative and work independently
– A particular interest in one or more of the following areas: Corporate Communications, Governance principles, Accounting, Finance and/or Responsible Investing.
– Strong Excel skills. Knowledge of VBA would be an asset.
– Proficiency in the any of the following languages is an asset: Finnish, Danish, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, German
