About this opportunity:
Reporting to the Manager, Information Management the Document Analyst will be accountable for facilitating, discovering, strategizing, and prioritizing the execution of Process Safety Information Management systems. Key deliverables are to standardize the process will include making documents easily accessible, control who changes documents, provide historic information on the document life cycle, and standardize the Information Management practices for consistent execution.
Responsibilities:
- Implementing IM tactical plans, in alignment with other operational priorities such as Turnarounds and to ensure end users’ engagement for culture change
- Controlling the PSI environment so that information accessed quickly, and is current while maintaining historical records
- Perform assurance checks at LOD1 level – checks standards, process, and repositories against the corporate requirements through gap assessments and analysis, reports and dashboards to close the gaps
- Ensure document control principles are applied for document names, numbers, proper use of metadata, functional and intuitive document hierarchy in repositories
- Facilitate and train end user on using appropriate repositories
- Facilitate and update Concurrent Engineering process to control document revision
- Implement the Quality control process for Engineering drawings and facilitate Equipment tag number creating and tracking
Qualifications:
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
- Diploma or Degree in Information Management Systems, Document Control or Data Analytics would be considered an asset
- Minimum of 5-6 years’ experience in the defined area of work
- Solid understanding of Enterprise Content tools such as OpenText Livelink, PPH, TechDocs, SAP PM and BW modules, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Command Prompts
- Advanced SharePoint 365 Administrator capabilities and experience of various drafting techniques
- Ability to use Excel Macros, Spotfire, Power BI (Business Intelligence) for data analytics and creating dashboards
- Business Analysis designation (IIBA), Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent qualification is an asset
