Cerelia Bakery Canada LP Looking for Supply & Demand Manager at Ontario Full Time

Primary Responsibilities

The Supply & Demand Manager is responsible for end-to-end Supply & Demand activities pertaining to Cerelia’s Cookie platform located in Toronto.  His/her goal is to ensure packaging and raw materials are ordered and delivered on time based on the demand forecast. The incumbent will pro-actively work with the sales, logistics and production team to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.

Job Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Take complete ownership of all the replenishment activities for Cerelia Toronto (approx. 70% of job duties)

• Ensure smooth functioning of the S&OP process and demand forecast (approx. 20% of job duties)

• Responsible to maintain adequate level of inventory of finished goods and raw material based on target rotation

• Execute master data activities related to items and vendors

• Take ownership of the demand and supply plan based on the consolidated demand forecast and the operational constraints

• Connect daily with Production, Sales, Supply Chain to ensure availability of production components

• Create a short term to 18 month rolling forecast using historical sales data, market indicators, promotional planning information and other decision variables identified

  Entrance Qualifications

• University degree or relevant experience in Supply Chain

• Comfortable walking the manufacturing floor 5 days per week

• Excellent computer skills, specifically with advance Excel and PowerPoint

• 5-7 years of similar experience in a manufacturing environment 

• Food Service / Retail Industry Experience: brings a thorough, yet modern approach to food services and/or retail, ideally a proven and well-respected entity in the grocery and / or food manufacturing industry.

• Must have excellent initiative, be a self-starter with a keen attention to details

• Must have the ability to work in a team environment as well as independently

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other departments and build strong working relationships, combined with an approachable disposition

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Enthusiastic learner and proactive individual with the ability to effectively manage various projects concurrently

• Attention to detail, ability to prioritize and make judgments, and a sense of urgency will be important to the candidate’s success

• Must be comfortable working in an entrepreneurial spirited, fast-paced and changing workplace environment with a desire to make a strong impact on the business

  The position comes with an attractive base pay between the range of CAD$ 115K to CAD$122K, annual bonus, paid time off, RRSP match and extended dental and health benefits.
