Book Keeper

Our Client is a Leading Baked good manufacturer in the West end. We are conducting a search for a book keeper to join this dynamic team. Our client offers a great working environment with opportunity for growth.
Responsibilities
- As a Bookkeeper, you will compile data, compute fees and charges, and prepare invoices for billing purposes.
- Full cycle AP / AR
- Processing invoices from multiple vendors and reconciling purchasing orders to vendor invoices
- Checking figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Debiting, crediting, and totaling accounts on computer spreadsheets and databases using specialized accounting software
Qualifications
- Someone who has previous experience in a bookkeeper role would be a good fit for this role.
- 4 + years of accounting experience as a Bookkeeper
- Experience with Accounting software
- Previous experience in accounting and bookkeeping
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary to work with various vendors and internal customer
- Full set Accounts Payable cycle including reconciliation and month/year end closing independently
- Process invoices
- Process expense reports
- Process cheque runs
