Position:
Configuration Management Engineer (Co-op) is responsible for all aspects of software configuration management including implementing, deploying, and maintaining related tools. You will also be providing technical standards around software building and packaging for all IWS Radiology products.
Core Responsibilities:
Analyzes requirements and implements appropriate build and packaging strategies
Works with project managers, developers, and QC staff to effectively deliver quality products on time
Troubleshoots and resolves build problems as necessary
Manages the administrative aspect of the IWS software version control repository
Responsible for all day-to-day communication with the teams requesting the work
Assists in the development and implementation of CM policies and procedures
Requirements:
Currently enrolled in Higher Education Program in Computer Science or related field. A third year student is required.
Experience with software development on Microsoft Windows, with a good understanding of the fundamentals of Windows family of operating systems.
Experience with Windows development tools: Visual Studio, Visual C++, C#, Java
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong working experiences with scripting languages especially VBScript, Perl, PowerShell.
Good English communication skills (verbal and written) to interact effectively with peers and stakeholders and clients within and outside Engineering
Strong troubleshooting, planning and time management skills
Good inter-personal skills and coaching skills
Strong logic and analytic skills
Ability to learn quickly, independently and with minimal supervision
