About the Job

We’re looking to add an enthusiastic and driven team player to our Finance Team. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in creating a rewarding customer experience while focusing on accounts receivables and working collaboratively with internal stakeholders.

Please note the preferred location for this role is Victoria, BC, but we are open to hiring remotely within British Columbia.

Some tasks you’ll be taking on

• Answer and respond to all various types of billing inquiries (phone, email)
• Ensure customers are charged appropriately
• Review and audit accounts
• Ensure excellence in service with the ability to solve conflicts
• Monitor and manage account subscriptions
• Answers customer inquiries over phone and email
• Audit customer accounts as appropriate
• Ensure billing notifications are sent out in a timely and accurate manner as per company standards
• Monitor Recurring Billing Processes for accuracy and report any discrepancies to appropriate teams
• Other related duties as assigned by Billing Manager

• Comfortable explaining complex and sensitive payment issues by phone and email
• Empathetic and quickly able to build rapport with others
• Teamplayer as well as independently accountable
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Detail oriented

Ideally, you should have

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• 2-3 years experience working in a Finance office setting
• 2-3 years experience in customer facing roles
• 2-3 years experience working with accounting software & technology
