Job Description
The Capital Markets arm of CIBC provides corporate, government and institutional clients with innovative solutions to help them raise capital, and grow and invest actively throughout North America and key financial centers around the world. To deliver on its vision to be our clients’ preferred capital markets banking partner across multiple products and services, both in Canada and where our core competencies can be exported. The Capital Markets mission is to bring Canadian Capital Markets products to Canada and the rest of the world, and also bring the world to Canada.
What You’ll Be Doing
The Trade Control group provides control services to CIBC’s businesses through effective governance and control processes for all Fixed Income, Money Markets, Futures & F/X products executed on a daily basis. Individuals are required to monitor and verify trade flows through various source systems in a timely and precise manner in order to ensure accuracy for downstream parties.
The Analyst, Trade Control is accountable for providing day-to-day support for globally based trading, in Fixed Income, Money Markets, Futures & F/X products within World Markets. Ensure all transactions advised by the Front Office have been completely and accurately booked into the requisite applications. Ensure direct external and internal transactions are independently confirmed and verified in accordance with industry best practice. Monitor all trading activities and investigations of any discrepancies related to the trading and advise as required of any new business
