Role Summary
The major responsibilities of an Industrial Engineer are to design, develop, test and evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial production processes including human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics and material flow, cost analysis and production coordination. A typical Industrial Engineer is tasked with increasing productivity through the management of people, methods of business organization and technology.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the equipment from the time it is qualified at the OEM through startup plus 1 year. This includes Industrial Engineering activities as well as coordination of installation, debug, runoff, and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) of all Material Handling equipment. Work will be performed in a plant environment where a considerable amount of creativity and initiative is exercised as well as a high level of independent judgment.
