A Product Owner & Client Enablement Lead is responsible for maximizing the value for a product. Key responsibilities include participate in the vision and roadmap for the product, defining and prioritizing stories in the product backlog, and articulating this to both stakeholders and the development team. This role works closely with the stakeholders to understand their needs, and with the Application Manager in a scaled Agile model, to ensure there is alignment. The role of a Product Owner requires a “hands on functional working knowledge” of the product, and good understanding of the relevant business and technology domain.

Summary/Responsibilities:
Citi ISG Technology is seeking a Product Owner & Client Enablement Lead who will facilitate feature design for application-based projects for an enterprise-wide application. Must be able to understand complex systems and utilize development patterns to develop key components in a clustered and multithreaded environment which is highly scalable with continued good performance. Must be self-driven, communicate well and work well on a team of other developers. Some projects may lead others or may be led depending upon project priorities and functionality. Must work with business to understand requirements and architecture leads to develop a strategic design and roadmap. Ultimately responsible for delivery of project into production.
Developing an understanding of stakeholder needs to help create a solution, envisions the solution to solve a problem (manual or through software)
Analyzes the stakeholder process to build efficiencies and also analyzes the software to improve or implement that process
Gathers and catalogs functional, non-functional, and technical requirements for stakeholder requests.
Analyzes functional and data requirements. Answers the questions: What does the software do and how does it store information?
Assists users and development team with application testing and troubleshooting
Identifies, documents and troubleshoots application related problems
Documents process, procedures and workflows associated with applications
Creates and maintains training materials for end-users
Required Skills
10+ years’ experience working in Agile methodology and a deep understanding of various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle; preferably in Business Analyst / Product Owner role Exceptional product feature analysis abilities to be able to ideate, visualize and communicate features required for current and future needs of clients
Ability to analyze edge case type scenarios for each of the flows/functions in the product and be able to lead the team to address such areas
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both technology/development and business partners – ability to translate between these two constituencies
Ability to lead and direct teams of 10+ individuals.
Excellent written communication skills and have excellent communication skills and client presence
Liaise with stakeholders to brainstorm new ideas and translate concepts into wireframes and mockups that lead to intuitive user experiences.
Facilitate client’s product visions by analyzing, researching, conceiving, working with UX team for wireframing, sketching, prototyping, and mocking up user experiences for applications.
Visualize data metrics, work flow and functional flow through high end dashboarding/ Data Visualization.
Design and deliver user stories, user journeys from use cases and mockups optimized for a wide range of applications.
Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions and provide insights on product and market strategies
Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features.
Influence staff with critical thinking and explain decisions and trade-offs
Compliant to company policies and should adhere to code of conduct
Experience using tools like Rally and JIRA for Agile projects
Understanding and experience with technical solutions and components (APIs, Middleware, Services, SQL)
Exceptional organizational skills, analytical skills, strong written and verbal presentation skills
Must be a team player and be able to build positive working relationships with team members and project managers that encourage open communication and a supportive team environment
Prior experience in an IT or management consulting environment with a focus on business analysis within financial services
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university

Experience with JIRA tool and infrastructure
Certification in Agile Scrum; specifically Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and/or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and/or Certified Product Owner
Experience in working with governance, risk and control or compliance products will be beneficial
Experience with data analysis and dashboarding and data visualization would be helpful
Familiar with internal and external KPIs of a product from a strategy point of view
Experience in developing a product within a mashed-up technology ecosystem
Be willing to help teammates, share knowledge and experience with them, and learn from them.
Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
Be passionate about all things about Product development and other areas of design and innovation. Research and showcase knowledge in the industry’s latest trends and technologies.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master’s degree preferred
