Location
This position is eligible for a hybrid work model. When attending an event or meeting in person, your primary office location be based out of 3332 Harvester Road, Burlington. Work location is subject to change at the discretion of the City due to operational demands.
Position Overview
Reporting to the Supervisor of Transit Planning and Service Design, this position will be responsible for technical and analytical work related to transit route planning, scheduling and leading technical projects in the department. This position leads the department GIS projects including ridership dashboards, transit spatial analysis, data editing, and mapping. Assignments have a broad range of scope in planning, scheduling, and technology. This position may also represent the department/city on internal and external committees and public meetings.

Requirements
The position requires a three (3) year College Diploma or University Degree in Transportation Engineering, Transportation Planning and/or Urban Planning. Three (3) years work experience is preferred with experience in transit, or a municipality considered an asset. Strong computer and project management skills are required. Knowledge of Hastus and/or TripSpark is an asset. Experience using GIS software like ArcGIS is preferred. The successful candidate will be flexible, have analytical and problem-solving abilities and be able to multi-task in a busy environment. Communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential in this role.
Successful candidates may be required to work minimal afterhours to support community public engagement and feedback.

Salary: $82,534.00-$103,168.00 per year
