The Integrated Infrastructure Services (IIS) department is responsible for delivering quality infrastructure for the City of Edmonton. The Business Planning and Support branch provides support to this department of over 500 employees in processing $1.2 billion annually in projects. As our Financial Analyst Team Lead you will ensure financial transactions are processed appropriately and projects are set-up accurately.
To be successful in this role you must be knowledgeable in financial transactions, project cost structures, financial controls, commitment/procurement process and project management principles. You are able to liaise with various stakeholders and branches to resolve payment or commitment issues.
It is second nature for you to manage staff workloads and allocate team resources based on business priorities. You will ensure your team of up to 7 staff are following established policies and procedures, enforce financial integrity and control, develop staff members and build an effective service-based team.

Up to 1 permanent full-time position
Hours of Work: 33.75 hour per week, Monday to Friday
The weekly hours of work for this position are currently under review and may change at a future time. Any changes will be made in accordance with the City of Edmonton/Civic Service Union 52 collective agreement and the incumbent will be notified in advance.
Salary: $40.517 – $50.871 Hourly; $71,380.820 – $89,621.980 Annually
