Resumes are being accepted for the temporary position of Recreation Coordinator, General Programs with the Culture and Recreation Department. Reporting to the Supervisor, Programs and Community Development, this position is responsible for the development and implementation of general interest recreation programs and services. Guided by the goals and objectives of the City of Guelph Corporate Strategic Plan and committed to the Corporate Values of integrity, service, inclusion, wellness and learning, the candidate will aid in the achievement of the Community Vision for an inclusive, connected, prosperous city.
Hours of Work
35 hours per week; 7 hours per day. Occasional evening and weekend shifts will be required.
For the purpose of special events, community outreach, public facility bookings and program registrations, employees in Culture and Recreation may work alternate hours, given two weeks’ advance notice, but shall not be scheduled for more than seven (7) consecutive hours per day, five (5) consecutive days per week, between the hours of 700am and 100am.
