City of Melville Looking for Parks and Recreation Labourer III at Melville, Saskatchewan, Canada Full Time

• Reporting to the Recreation and Programming Manager, the Parks & Recreation Facilities Labourer III position performs ordinary labour duties of a routine nature under immediate supervision.

Qualifications

• Arena Operator Level I Certification (asset).
• WHMIS Certification.
• First Aid/CPR/AED Certification.
• Minimum Grade 12 or its equivalent.
• Possess a valid Class 5 Driver license.
• Must be able to use a weed eater for extended periods.
• Ability to read and write.
• Ability to prepare individual time sheets.
• Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions.
• Physical ability to perform the assigned duties.
• The ability to lift a minimum 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work shift work.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Must maintain effective working conditions and relationships with fellow employees and the ability to interact with the general public in a tactful and courteous manner.
• Must be able to provide a criminal record check and driver’s abstract.

Salary: $21.96 per hour as per existing CUPE Local Agreement No. 456.
