The Mayor of Windsor is seeking applications from qualified individuals to fill the role of Chief
of Staff in one of Canada’s fastest growing communities. Windsor is home to Canada’s first
electric vehicle battery manufacturing facility, the new Gordie Howe Bridge to the United States
is nearing completion and a new regional hospital project will soon break ground. The City is
experiencing record growth in development and is flourishing like never before.

The successful candidate will have a good mix of relevant education and experience in
communications, office management, people management, and working with political and
administrative bodies. They will be adept in their ability to communicate orally and in writing.
This is a results-oriented position where initiative and a desire to see the City of Windsor
succeed are of paramount importance. There is no ‘normal day’ in this role, so you must thrive
in a fast-paced ever-changing environment. You know how to work with teams including when
to stand-back and when to step-in. Most importantly, you have a history of delivering results.
