As our Behavioral Health Admissions Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting assessments with potential patients over the phone or in-person to determine if they meet admission criteria for our behavioral health programs.
• Collaborating with clinical staff to develop individualized treatment plans for each patient.
• Coordinating with insurance providers to verify coverage and obtain authorization for treatment.
• Facilitating the admission and intake process, including completing necessary paperwork and orienting patients to our programs and facilities
• Providing ongoing support and communication with patients, families, and referral sources throughout the admission and treatment process

Our Ideal Candidate Will Possess

• A Master’s degree in a related field (psychology, social work, counseling, etc.) or equivalent experience.
• Must be a LMHP or LMHP-E.
• Experience working in a healthcare or behavioral health setting, preferably in admissions or patient intake.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of insurance and billing processes related to behavioral health treatment.
