We are looking for an Electrical Apprentice at any level. This opportunity will provide you with experience on residential, commercial and industrial sites.
This position is based in Whitecourt, AB, and will work on multiple client sites in the surrounding areas. This permanent position will start as soon as possible. The work schedule will vary based on client site.
What would you be doing?
Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings and electrical code specifications to decide on wiring layouts.
Cut, thread, bend, assemble and install conduits and other types of electrical conductor enclosures and fixtures.
Pull wire through conduits and holes in walls and floors.
Position, support , and install equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breakers, panels, fuse enclosures, fire alarms, lighting controls, and auto backup generators.
Install, replace, support, and repair electrical systems and related electrical equipment.
Testing circuits to ensure integrity and safety.
Does this sound like you?
Have an Apprentice Electrician ticket or are ready to be indentured.
Have high regard for personal safety, the safety of company assets, and employees.
Self-motivated, capable of performing tasks with minimal supervision.
Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work well under pressure and handle strict deadlines.
Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
