Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Typist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Data Entry Typist, you will be responsible for accurately inputting and updating financial data into our systems. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in Australia.

Skills:

• Excellent typing speed and accuracy
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
• Familiarity with financial terminology and concepts
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to meet strict deadlines
• Good organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Enter and update financial data into our systems accurately and efficiently.
• Verify the accuracy of entered information by comparing it with source documents.
• Review discrepancies or errors found in the data entry process.
• Organize digital files and maintain an organized database system.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while handling large volumes of data.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; additional certification in bookkeeping or accounting is a plus.
• Proven experience in data entry or similar roles is preferred but not required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Must have access to a computer/laptop with reliable internet connection for remote work.
