About The Role
We are looking for an experienced sales leader with a track record of building and scaling sales teams in a high growth environment. Our business operates at a speed and volume unmatched in traditional car dealerships and we’re looking for a leader who thrives in this high-energy environment. We want customers to have an incredible experience when purchasing from Clutch but also maximize conversion and revenue. Experience in Automotive or B2C financial services is a bonus, but ability to thrive in an innovative, high-performance, fast-paced, environment is a requirement.
What You’ll Do
- Manage a team of customer advisors to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Train, coach, and lead sellers to achieve acceptable attainment and productivity metrics
- Design and adapt our sales messaging and process that aligns with our value propositions and delivers an incredible experience to our customers
- Analyze sales data to drive inbound lead to close conversion and exceptional customer experience
- Take full ownership and innovate the way sellers approach up and cross sell of various products
- Championing a high performance culture both within the sales team and across the business
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing, product & production teams
- Report, analyze, and effectively communicate sales performance insights to senior management and the team
- Lead by example and not afraid to get your hands dirty
What We’re Looking For
- 5 to 10 years of proven success in a sales leadership role within a tech company or a dealership, ideally with experience managing managers/leads and ICs.
- Relentless desire for winning and high performance, balanced with delivering an industry leading customer experience
- Ready to lead and coach, but also willing to roll up your sleeves and get into the nitty-gritty with your team
- A passion for and a track record of hiring, performance management, mentorship, and helping people grow their careers.
- Comfortable with tech enabled process and proficient at leveraging tech to help scale
- Data/metrics-driven, able to track sales metrics, identify gaps and collaborate cross-functionally on solving them (including working with Marketing, Production, & Product/Engineering teams)
