We believe in community. When individuals are experiencing complex mental health or addictions needs, we believe that the community setting and supports can offer an alternative pathway for recovery, without the need for hospitalization.
Our Long-Stay Residence provides people who have been hospitalized, or are at risk of hospitalization, with an opportunity to live in the community by providing a housing option that balances their need for support with as much independence as possible in a home-like setting. As a member of this team you will support clients with their physical and mental health/addiction support needs by providing personal care, teaching life skills and coping strategies, and working with clients to better connect them with their social supports and their community.
Successful candidates must have a Police Vulnerable Sector Check completed in the last six months. Interested applicants who reside in the City of London and are in need of a Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) are encouraged to apply for one as soon as possible as PVSCs in the City of London are currently taking approximately 2 weeks to be processed and offers of employment cannot be made without receipt of a PVSC.

WHAT WE’RE OFFERING:
What you’ll be making –$22.33 to $25.71 per hour (Practicing Professional Grid)
What you’ll work – 70 hours over two-week period, days, afternoons, evenings and weekends.
What you’re benefits will be – After 90 day waiting period, will be eligible for 20% prescription drug benefit
Our Pension Plan – Immediately eligible for optional enrollment in the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP).
