Canadian National Railway Company (CN) is looking for a highly motivated person to fulfill a full-time (40h/week) Intern, Investor Relations position in Montreal, QC from May – Aug 2024.
Job Summary
The Intern, Investor Relations is responsible for providing support to the Investor Relations (IR) department. The incumbent assists in creating, implementing, and maintaining a marketing program that effectively communicates the CN story to the Investment community.
Major Responsibilities
Perform industry-wide benchmarking survey of IR materials, including webpages, IR-decks, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) material
Validate data accuracy in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database, including shareholder meeting dates, investor meetings, and meeting summaries
Develop reports and analyses that examine the relationship between investor meetings and share ownership
Assist the Senior Manager in preparing and delivering the Quarterly Earnings Call and virtual investor conferences
Perform ad hoc analysis as directed by the Vice-President and Senior Manager
Requirements
Fluently bilingual both written and verbal (English, French)
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
Ability to learn new software
Knowledge of the stock market*
Education
*Any experience/education/skills/knowledge for these above would be considered as an asset
