Code Ninjas Mississauga West Looking for Centre Director (Kids Education) at Mississauga, ON Full Time

Who are we?

Code Ninjas is the nation’s fastest growing kids coding franchise. In our centre, kids ages 5 to 18+ learn to code in a fun environment by playing and building video games they love. Parents are thrilled as their children gain confidence and new skills including coding, math, logic, and problem-solving, as they progress from white to black belt. What are we looking for?

We are looking for a STEM Camp Director to join our team of dynamic, energetic, forward thinking minds, working toward our common goal: providing a fun and safe learning environment for children during summer camps season of 2022. There is a high possibility that this position will be converted to permanent full time salaried Centre Director position in fall with eligibility for commission.

**Please note that this is “In person” role starting Jun 01 at our centre located at “Meadowvale town centre Mississauga”.

Responsibilities:

• Attends and participates in meetings and training sessions.
• Works closely with the Owner to ensure smooth operation of summer camps and program activities
• Manage and deliver different camps every week.
• Attend all walk-in inquiries and provide information.
• Work with parents to define children’s feedback for camps, learning needs and provide all information about different courses we offer
• Bring cheer and fun atmosphere to Dojo environment
• Uphold corporate standards with respect to centre cleanliness & operational standards.
• Follows health and safety rules for COVID.
• Ensures Waivers and forms have been signed by all parents.
• Ability to think on the fly and be perceptive to centre dynamics
• Be an ambassador for the Code Ninjas brand

Skills & Qualifications:

Our Camp Director must have:

• Experience in planning and facilitation of camps and programs for kids
• Certificate in education preferred.
• Experience in arranging fun events for kids.
• Experience supervising staff and/ or volunteers.
• Current police reference check and vulnerable sector screening.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and with little supervision
• Honest and Trustworthy Individual
