Social Media Manager

Position Overview

We are in search of a dynamic Social Media Manager with a strong background in influencer marketing and a minimum of 5 years of experience, ideally with experience in the consumer goods sector.

The ideal candidate will possess a proven ability to grow and engage social media audiences across platforms, execute successful product launches, and develop impactful social media strategies, with a specific emphasis on influencer collaboration.

Responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy:

• Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging platforms to ensure the brand’s social media presence remains innovative and competitive.

Audience Growth and Engagement:

• Utilize organic and paid strategies to increase followers across key social media channels.
• Foster community engagement through regular interaction, content responsiveness, and user-generated content campaigns.
• Analyze audience insights and behavior to refine strategies for optimal engagement.

Content Creation and Curation:

• Create and curate compelling and shareable content, ensuring alignment with brand voice and identity.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop multimedia content for various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube)

Product Launches:

• Lead social media campaigns for product launches, from pre-launch teasers to post-launch follow-ups.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of social media activities into overall product launch plans.

Analytics and Reporting:

• Utilize analytics tools to track and analyze key performance metrics.
• Generate regular reports, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with marketing, brand and creative teams to align social media efforts with overall brand strategies.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, providing updates on social media performance and upcoming initiatives.

Influencer Marketing:

• Identify and establish relationships with relevant influencers aligned with the brand’s values and target audience.
• Develop and execute influencer marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness and engagement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in social media management, with a focus on consumer goods.
• Proven experience in successfully growing and engaging social media audiences on the five largest platforms: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience in managing product launches through social media.
• Proficiency in social media analytics tools.
