The budtenders are the front line experts of our store. You have an advanced knowledge of cannabis and can assist customers in all facets of their buying and consuming needs.
Budtender Responsibilities:
1. Advising customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis.
2. Keeping abreast of new cannabis products on the market as well as the latest industry trends through trade shows and research.
3. Processing customers’ payments using the dispensary’s Point of Sale (POS) system.
4. Ensuring that the dispensary is clean and well-organized at all times.
5. Educating customers on the safe use of their selected cannabis products.
6. Checking customers’ identification documents to verify that they are of legal age.
7. Taking inventory of cannabis products and ensuring that the sales floor is adequately stocked.
Requirements:
- Flexible availability – candidates with limited availability may not be considered
- Available to work nights, weekends, holidays and peak summer season – different shifts available for full time/ part time/ seasonal
- All applicants must be at least 19 years of age or older
- CannSell Certification
- Criminal background check
- Reference check

Experience:
- customer service: 3 years (preferred)
