Also offering vocational training, Okanagan College is the second largest trades training institution in B.C.Within this exciting context, Okanagan College is seeking a visionary post-secondary leader who brings experience and credibility as a collaborative and effective senior administrator capable of building on existing strengths. The Provost and Vice President Academic (PVPA) is responsible for the development of excellence in learning, teaching, scholarship, applied research and the student experience at Okanagan College. In this capacity, the PVPA is responsible for the creation and implementation of academic and student services priorities and for the allocation of resources that will support those priorities. The PVPA is responsible for ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of academic programs, academic services and student services by ensuring that appropriate personnel, policies, procedures and resources are in place.The PVPA will possess exceptional leadership and communications skills in order to build strong, effective relationships, within and beyond OC, in order to meet the bold goals and aspirations defined in the Inspire strategic plan. The PVPA will be inclusive and have highly developed interpersonal skills and proven abilities to build relationships and create bridges between communities.
