Responsibilities
- Provide support according to the care plan ensuring that client comfort and safety are met to the extent possible
- Provide socialization, conversation and emotional reassurance to the client
- Encourage and participate in activities that stimulate and promote well-being
- Assist with personal care such as hygiene, grooming and basic care
- Light housekeeping duties i.e vacuuming, dusting, bathrooms, and kitchens
Skills & Qualification
- PSW certificate or equivalent
- Compassionate with a passion for helping others
- Experience in dementia care
- Ability to interact with others in a caring, tactful and courteous manner
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week
Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
