Job Summary
Community Builders is looking for a Project Coordinator that wants to bring their talent and skills to compliment our leadership team and contribute to our mission.
We perform a range of construction services that are typically residential in nature such as medium to large renovations, legal second suite creation and custom home building. However we see opportunities to venture into ICI and take on larger projects such as motel conversations and commercial retrofits.

This person would be responsible for managing and coordinating all construction projects, taking projects from inception to completion while working alongside and with our leadership team, staff, and field supervisors to continuously improve and develop our business!
Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing the day to day of the following: Project schedules; Construction schedules; Project budgets; Cost and cash flow projections; Oversight of Tendering Process
- Assist with estimates and budget development for projects
- Sales and lead generation: Manage the incoming requests for quotes; Build stability through bidding on projects and building out our job schedule; Manage the customer expectations and deliver superior customer service
- Ensure all required permits are obtained
- Assist General Supervisors & Working Foremen to ensure efficiency and productivity
- Ensure accurate and timely project close dates; adjust working schedules to ensure deadlines are met
- Manage relationships with: Building department; Trades; Clients; Suppliers; Engineers/architects; City & County staff; Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years experience working in construction management/coordination
- A degree in project management an asset
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, G-Suite, Asana, Procore, and other relevant softwares
- Experience in the nonprofit sector an asset
- Excellent communication (oral and written), time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Results oriented
