Purpose of the Position
The purpose of this position is to perform maintenance on Information Management systems and data processes, which includes quality assurance testing, automation and error handling, confirming system integrity, and issue management resulting in process improvement. This position works directly with data originators, service suppliers, staff and both within the Bank and its partners. The Bank uses ITIL Service and Incident Management to control and understand its ongoing work.
Key Outcomes & Responsibilities
Responsible to operate and test updates of the Software system(s):
Implement system improvements and mitigates risk:
Responsible to provide ongoing support and expertise to the Bank staff and credit unions through advanced knowledge of Software system(s):
Support the department in meeting client needs and strengthening relationships:
Completion of International Software Testing Certificate (or similar certificate)
Post-secondary degree or diploma program in accounting or information technology related field
Comprehensive knowledge of software testing methods
Advanced knowledge of Software system technology, including current system capabilities, settings and defaults
Understanding of ITIL Service and Incident Management (or similar)
