Underpinning these on-line services is the CAO’s highly skilled Information Services teams who answer inquiries and provide guidance to owners, residents, directors and condominium managers by phone and email on varied and complex issues that often arise in condominium communities.
Purpose of position
Reporting to the CFOO, Manager Finance will be responsible for the full finance team. Overseeing Payroll, Accounting, and daily business operations. Participate in the evaluation of reliability measures of financial information within our respective systems in terms of various financial and operating indicators.

Key responsibilities
Accounting
Monitor complete full cycle of accounting functions.
Prepares and ensure all audit worksheets are correct and oversee the annual audit.
Continuously monitor, recommend and implement process improvement initiatives to increase the effectiveness and productivity of the department.
Participate in the implementation of a new Finance integrated system solutions.
Daily business operations
Verifying day to day financial transactions including account receivable and payable data
Conducts research, investigate information, compile data, and prepare summaries to enable strategic decision-making with respect to services and supplies.
Analyze incoming offers, submissions, and reports from prospective suppliers of products and services to determine their significance, assess whether they are beneficial for the organization and if relevant, forward the analysis with a recommendation to the Manager.
Prepare cost/benefit analysis of various special projects with respect to services and supplies.
Monitor and review Invoice payment and verify charges, allocation to appropriate accounts (departments).
Monitor suppliers’ and service providers’ performance; negotiate and implement contract modifications when necessary.
Identify issues and trends related to supplies and services usage, analyse trends and data and provide creative support with the development of alternative solutions.
Identifies an integrates continuous improvement opportunities, negotiation of cost savings, improved processes and standard best practices.
Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.
Other duties as required.
Qualifications: Skills and knowledge
Post-secondary education business administration, accounting, finance, or related field preferred, candidates with CPA will be given a priority.
5+ years of experience managing monthly P&L reporting, cash flow management and financial modelling for the executive team, including experience in managing a team.
Hands-on experience of legislation, policies, directives, procedures, and best practices related to payment processes and practises to provide comprehensive explanations on department processes, investigate non-routine/complex issues, identify contentious issues and provide recommendations.
Proven experience in administering a full cycle accounting function, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing and account analysis and reconciliation.
Experience of general accounting principles and practices
Demonstratable organization, coordination, and project management skills
Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills, for communicating with general personnel and management.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment (with individuals both within and outside the finance department).
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft 365 or AX – an asset
Working conditions
Hybrid Model – 3 days a week in the office (Toronto)
