Job Summary
Please Note: this is not a remote work position
We are looking for a Project Coordinator/Estimator to support senior management in the on site, day-to-day operations needed to keep documentation and jobs on track. This is a junior position and can easily move to a senior role within the organization for the right candidate. As a Project Coordinator/Estimator your responsibilities will include:
> review & distribution of project documentation and correspondence
> complete minutes and field review reports
> maintain project files, logs, drawings and specifications
> review, interpret and update construction schedules
> attend meetings as required, document and communicate pertinent information to the owner/management
> assist with overall project close out
Job Type / Category
This is a full-time position and typical hours will coincide with office hours which are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm.
It is the expectation that all meetings will be attended on behalf of the company/owner regardless of their location or time.
There is a potential of partial work from home options and/or flexible scheduling upon successful completion of the 3-month probation period and based on the professionalism and drive of the individual.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
Credentials in Construction Management, Estimating, Engineering, Business Admin or combined education and industry experience.
Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work.
Attention to detail.
Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to respond to pressure situations with a calm demeanor and high sense of urgency.
Additional industry experience will be taken into consideration.
