Assistant Wellness Manager

Qualifications:
· Graduate of a recognized RN program.
· Registered and in good standing with their related Licensing Body
· Valid Certification in First Aid and CPR.
· 3-5 years’ experience.
· Experience and knowledge in human resources and/or labour relations.
Responsibilities:
· Day-to-day community administration
· Using the available resources, the Wellness Manager is responsible for delegating, coordinating, and evaluating the delivery of care based on the Resident Care Plan & Service Plan (if applicable).
· Ensure an interdisciplinary effort to achieve the successful integration of quality of life and quality of care.
· Adhere to Health Services Contracts.
· Responsible for the discipline and discharge of LPN’s and HCAs and participates in investigations and grievance processes in accordance to Well-Being Strategies. Liaise with the Manager/HR regarding human resource items as required.
· Ensure that care delivered recognizes each Resident as an individual so that personal needs are met beyond traditional nursing practices.
· Education & orientation for all employee care partners.
· Teach delegated services to care partners as per accepted practice standards.
· Liaison with Care Team (i.e. Resident, Family- if applicable, Home Care Nurse, Doctor, Pharmacy, Care Partners, and other health care professionals) as required.
· The Eden Alternative Philosophy is embraced to ensure that each Resident’s life can be fully enhanced.

Wage: $39.25-48.00/hour plus on call compensation
