The Opportunity:
The role of Kitchen Prep is responsible for ensuring a priority with time management and conflict resolution is the focus on providing excellent service for our Residents and Care Partners.
Full Time is FTE 1.0
Part Time is 0.8 FTE 60 hours bi-weekly

Ongoing learning to expand knowledge through attending educational workshops
Ordering, receiving, and storage of inventory for the operation of the food services area
Organization of all meals following the menu cycle ensuring excellent quality and taste
Attaining and maintaining ongoing compliance with appropriate regulatory standards
Embody: Emergency Management Plan, Infection Control protocol, WHMIS, Health & Safety
Auditing and collecting ongoing resident/family feedback for quality improvement review
Maintaining records required by the Community, required auditors, and funders as required
Attains and maintains ongoing compliance with appropriate local, provincial, and federal regulatory standards
Qualifications:
Grade 12 Diploma or recognized equivalent (required)
Food Safe Certificate (an asset)
Must speak, read, and write fluent English
