INFANT TODDLER
MONDAY TO FRIDAY 9AM – 5:00PM DOWNTOWN HISTORIC ABBOTSFORD LOCATION
Contemporary Kids is an all-day childcare Centre passionate about providing the right exposure to all matter of expressive commutative and cognitive experiences. A healthy learning environment is the catalyst to a positive learning experience for children, one that inspires a lifelong love of learning. We are looking for goal orientated teachers with a love for what they do. Strong teachers are what make a childcare facility great and we appreciate and recognize that. We are looking for Teachers that care about the cognitive development of children, those who will ensure the children’s time away from home is spent with teachers who will nurture encourage and guide children to be the best they can be in the healthiest way.

You will have strengths in:
Working successfully with a team and supporting an Infant Toddler program
Knowledge of licensing requirements
Planning, implementing and evaluating activities and experiences to meet individual and group needs of all children and families of a child care program.
Guiding and caring for a group of children ages up to 3 years old.
Encouraging learning and developing positive self-concepts for children
Ensuring a healthy and safe environment for children.
Effective and cooperative team work and communication.
Maintaining positive and supportive relationships with parents and families.
You will have:
ECE / IT certification
First Aid training and current certification
Clear Criminal Record Check
Well developed interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication.
Ability to model, mentor and train new staff
Strong knowledge and awareness of:
Age-appropriate programming and developmental needs of children
Family and parenting concerns, needs and communication
Knowledge of broader child care field and its role in the community
