Contender Logistics LTD Looking for Customer Service Representative at Waterloo, ON Full Time

What you’ll do

The role will be a combination of a few different responsibilities throughout the day, in a nut shell, you will be responsible for managing the dozens of shipments that we have on the go at any given time. You will work within a couple of our internal software systems to help put together the required paperwork that goes along with each shipment, consistently checking in on shipments, and then providing clients with updates, as well as coordinating the timing for any pickup or delivery appointments. You will work hand in hand with our operations teams and sales team. It will be fast paced and will require you to have the ability to switch tasks consistently, well being able to return to the previous task at a future point.

The Company

Contender Logistics is a Freight Brokerage that operates throughout North America. As a brokerage, Contender does not handle the physical goods, we simply negotiate the best possible price on behalf of our clients, take a fee for doing so, and ensure that the shipment runs smoothly from A to B. Contender Logistics was founded in February 2019. We are a younger team that come from a variety of different industries/backgrounds, this makes for a corporate culture similar to one of a tech start up. We have shown fast growth in the logistics space with the intentions of continuing to grow at the same pace.
