Contrans Tank Group Looking for Logistics Coordinator at Woodstock, ON Full Time

Contrans Tank Group in looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Woodstock.

Specific Duties

· Schedule and dispatch drivers and equipment to appropriate locations or tank washes according to our customer requests, specifications, or needs

· Ensure all drivers and owner operators are fully utilized and monitor their progress throughout the month to ensure Contrans Tank is meeting up to the driver and owner operator expectations

· Enter orders into our TMS and confirm that proper information accompanies the order based on customer requirements

· Work closely with customer service to address customer questions or concerns in order to provide the service and satisfaction our customers require

· Prepare daily work and dispatch schedules and scan/email to the driver and pre-plan/dispatch on our TMS

· Abiding by Canada/U.S. transportation regulations on a provincial/state, and federal level

· Communicate effectively with drivers, co-workers, and customers and adhere to the company’s communication policy

· After hours phone calls as needed

· Other duties as required

Education/Experience

· Post-secondary education in business or logistics

· 2-5 years dispatching is a benefit

· Understanding of basic transportation regulation both in U.S. and Canada i.e. weight restrictions, hours of service.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $52,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
