Core Logistics International is a 3rd party transportation company that services the local GTA dealing primarily with freight forwarders, shippers, and airport pickup/deliveries. We cover a range of transportation modes, in addition to providing local transport and warehousing.
We are currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Dispatcher.
Business Information:
- Overtime after 45 hours
- Average 40-hour week
- Weekly pay via direct deposit
Qualifications:
- Able to work independently and in a group setting.
- Able to understand workflow and anticipate potential issues before they arise.
- Able to multitask and work with a sense of urgency while having patience to deal with issues.
- Very strong computer skills.
- Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Highly organized, scheduling reminders and calendar events for yourself.
- Able to pick up on discrepancies/irregularities and relay that information to the appropriate parties.
Job Responsibility
- Dispatch orders on the daily basis to our team of drivers (10+) using our route optimization software.
- Arrange for vehicle service when prompted by our system’s maintenance alerts.
- Quote customers using our quoting platform using a variety of transport companies.
- Scan any physical documents and attach it to our system (we’re a paperless company).
- Auto-rate files and verify any auxiliary charges before accounting invoices the customer.
