About The Role
Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the Marketing Director is responsible for planning and executing all marketing initiatives and programs for the Macabacus product. This includes, but not limited to, market research and analysis, branding and positioning, campaign creation and execution, project management, content strategy, copywriting, CRO, SEO, events, and webinars.
In this role you will have a high level of autonomy and be supported by an extended team of contractors, as needed. You will also work with a highly ambitious cross-functional team across Product, Sales, and Customer Success to build hyper-growth foundations for Macabacus. You will be focused on strengthening the Macabacus brand, building a strong demand machine, and generating high-quality pipeline for the product.
What You’ll Be Working On
Create and execute on the Macabacus marketing strategy and activity calendar.
Define and execute on Macabacus content and campaigns including end-to-end ideation, creation, publishing, optimization, and reporting.
Build a robust demand engine that supports eCommerce (digital sales) and lead generation (enterprise sales) growth.
Design and execute go-to-market strategies across channels including SEO, paid media, email and social to achieve revenue and pipeline targets.
Publishing content across social, marketing automation, web, and paid channels
Utilize data to implement efficiencies, generate revenue growth, and improve our ability to generate and nurture qualified leads.
Own the content and conversion experience of the public website.
Build sales collateral and enablement materials.
Drive alignment with stakeholders from marketing operations, UX, business intelligence, sales and product.
Manage an external paid media agency and contractors with a high degree of program efficacy.
Provide thought leadership, strategic insight, and clear communication on the product’s growth strategy.
Conduct qualitative research and build solutions based on findings (i.e. strategic positioning and messaging, target audiences, social media strategies).
About You
You have a degree in marketing or related field, and 7+ years full-stack marketing experience.
You have a deep knowledge and understanding of digital acquisition channels – specifically paid media and SEO – at both a strategic and tactical level.
You have numerous examples of running successful campaigns that have generated/increased demand, revenue and leads.
You have developed multi-channel marketing strategies either at a business unit or company level.
You will bring plenty of ideas! We want this role to challenge, innovate and drive growth.
You have demonstrated experience working with product and engineering teams on website related projects.
You have a data driven approach to marketing and have significant experience leveraging a wide variety of tools for growth, including Google Analytics, Klaviyo, Google Search Console, SEMrush and Tableau (preferred).
The ability to drive outcomes autonomously, who thrives on seeing an idea from start to finish.
