Job Duties:
- Support plant operations with level one hardware and software support; answer end-use calls, and determine support required and assist when appropriate
- Assist service desk with assigned incidents and provide technical support to employees using software packages on the network; investigate, identify, and resolve hardware and software problems for PCs and servers
- Assist with installation and maintenance of new computer/network hardware and software
- General awareness of computer systems, PC repair, and network management
- Resourcefulness and quick-thinking nature to troubleshoot new and critical technical issues as they arise.
- Provide support to users of the User Interfaces within the Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word), MS Teams and web meeting software
- Ability to deploy, configure and support operating systems on desktop and mobile
- Understanding and appreciation for information security within systems and user devices
- Develop code using the Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications Editor environment for Component Object Model programming
- Understand and support Object-Oriented Relational Database Management Systems
- Understand and support needs related to T-SQL (Transact Structured Query Language) (Microsoft SQL Server)
- Develop documents/templates using the [Design Mode and Macro development] environment within Microsoft Office Suite Applications
- Research and recommend to management new processes/systems to optimize and/or improve the current resources.
Qualification Preferably computer science or Information Technology background.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
