The Township of Wellington North is looking for an Asset Management Coordinator to join our team to look after its tangible capital asset portfolio. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy and data analytics proficient. We will prefer candidates with a background in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) with a strong understanding of information technology systems such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and GIS (Geographic Information System).
This is a cross-functional role and provides overall capital project coordination support. The Asset Management Coordinator will play a lead role in the development and ongoing maintenance of the township’s assets and financial plans by working closely with asset owner departments, the Director of Finance, and the current asset management lead. There is also the possibility of working with other lower tier and upper tier municipalities in Wellington County.
This position requires working well with others in a team atmosphere with minimal supervision. Experience in this role can be used towards the relevant practical experience requirements of the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
